8th Annual CU4Kids Golf Classic

US Community Credit Union, Electric Service Credit Union and Cornerstone Financial Credit Union recently hosted their eighth annual Credit Unions for Kids Golf Classic to support Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

This year’s tournament announced results of more than $40,000, bringing their cumulative CMN contributions to more than $250,000 over eight years.

The golf classic was designed to be the most unique golf tournament in the area. Players never know what new spin the credit unions will put on the tournament attendees —such as donning scrubs and surgical gloves to tee off. This makes players eager to find out what fun new element will take place each year.

Although everyone enjoys the fun associated with the tournament, the Credit Unions for Kids Golf Classic truly exemplifies the credit union motto of “people helping people”.
