Franklin Road Academy Dance Marathon Raises More Than $10,000

On March 30, Franklin Road Academy hosted its inaugural Dance Marathon. Addy Sizemore, a senior at FRA, started FRADM in honor of her younger brother who was treated for a heart condition at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Addy partnered with the school’s National Honor Society to host the event, and this partnership led to NHS students alone raising more than $5,000 for the kids. One hundred and one middle and high school students attended the event and raised funds, and at the end of the event, revealed their year-long fundraising total of $10,035.19. FRADM chose to partner with Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon, so their funds will be added to the VUDM 2020 fundraising total. We are so proud of the hard work put in by FRA students and look forward to partnering with them in the coming years.
