Patients and families recently received some early holiday cheer at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Gaylord Hotels and The Noerr Programs hosted Mrs. Claus in the hospital’s Seacrest Studios for a reading of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The celebration is part of Gaylord Opryland’s “A Country Christmas,” which runs through Jan. 1, 2017.

Among its most popular attractions is ICE!, a walk-through winter wonderland event that brings Christmas alive via colorful carved ice sculptures, two-story ice slides and live ice carvings. This year marks the 15th anniversary of ICE! at Gaylord Hotels which features the family-favorite theme of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of holiday activities and entertainment for every member of the family. The resort provides everything from live shows, holiday rides for kids and character breakfasts, to snow tubing, ice skating and more.

The Noerr Programs is the official Santa Experience and ICE! photo provider for A Country Christmas and is partnering with the resorts again this year to accept donations in support of Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital for Gaylord Opryland Hotel.
