Time to Celebrate! Annual U.S. News Best Children’s Hospitals 2021-2022 Named
The annual U.S. News Best Children’s Hospitals rankings are now available for 2021-2022. In addition to the stellar services and care provided by the hospitals on this list, some have another thing in common – they are members of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Nine of the 10 hospitals listed on this year’s Honor Roll are part of this network of 170 hospitals.
Each year, U.S. News rates nearly 5,000 hospitals across the country on 16 specialties and ten procedures and conditions. The purpose is to offer guidance to parents seeking the best of the best care for their children. The Honor Roll includes the highest-rated hospitals based on a variety of specialties including, pediatric cancer, pediatric cardiology and heart surgery and pediatric orthopedics.

For the first time this year, U.S. News also ranked children’s hospitals in each state and in seven multi-state regions. These new regional rankings are designed to help families identify high-quality pediatric centers close to home. The multi-state regions, and the No. 1 hospital in each region, are members of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals:

- Rocky Mountains: Children’s Hospital Colorado, Aurora
- Southwest: Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston
